I have no idea what else to do, I have tried every single thing I could find or think of. I've checked my latency with LatencyMon and there were no problems there. I also tried emulating linux with a virtual machine and testing the sound there, same thing. Updating the driver, adding a legacy driver, changing the sound bitrate and frequency, disabling enhancements and surround sound, disabling applications from taking exclusive control over the sound device, disabling spatial sound, disabling line in, disabling every other playback device in sound settings, doing sound troubleshooting, changing my computer's power saving options, changing the sound driver's power options in regedit, putting minimum processor state to 100%, changing power settings in advanced multimedia settings, using the front audio jack, reverting my system back to a previous date, and even completely restarting windows (which I had to do because I got a blue screen of death the last time I tried reinstalling the Realtek drivers, and I kept getting it every time my PC started up), NONE OF IT WORKED. It didn't go away even when I uninstalled the Realtek driver and went back to the basic one. I downloaded the Realtek driver from my motherboard's (aorus x570 elite) website and after I installed it, my audio started having this problem. I had the basic High Definition Audio driver installed on my PC, but I wanted to use stereo mix and for that I needed Realtek drivers. I've seen a lot of people have this problem and none of the fixes they got in their replies worked for me. I hear a pop sound whenever I start/stop a sound, change volume or skip through a video/song/whatever. ![]()
